DERRICK DESHAWN

Hi my name is Derrick and I'm a singer from Indianapolis, IN. I started singing at the young age of three under the musical direction of my father. As a child I did most of my singing in the church. My singing matured after enrolling in Broad Ripple High School for the Arts in Indianapolis. I have been performing since 2009. I have participated in and won numerous karaoke contests throughout the Indianapolis area and have been featured at various local events. I continue to dedicate myself to the music through my journey of self-development. I practice a variety of musical genres to work on my vocal ability and singing range. I have covered a number of artists from Kelly Clarkson to Anthony Hamilton to Rascal Flatts.
